WEEKEND! :)

Last Friday we travel going to Laguna..

Saturday morning we woke up early to jog. After that we visited a place that was very familiar to people who watch this everyday.

Xyrs watches that show everyday (nahawa from his Lola and his Yaya before). He told me that morning, “Hay Ya!” meaning let’s go to Maya’s house.

That same day we headed to attend a wedding -Niña’s weeding. She’s very closed to my heart that’s why I didn’t missed that special day for her.

During the wedding, I spoke to God saying “Lord, nauna pa sya saken. Anu magiging itsura ng wedding ko?” And you know what, God immediately answered saying “It will be perfect, honoring to Me and on My right timing.

Thank you Lord for the assurance. I will wait for Your right timing 🙂

Thursday: Worship Night

Yesterday, I attended the Thursday Worship Night in Victory Makati. I love this church not just people are nice but they will pin point whenever you are doing is not honoring to the Lord and they will boldly tell you what God is saying but of course they do it with love. 🙂

Pastor Mike shared the message last night about the Lord’s prayer (background: it is our mini series for all the Thursdays of January). The focus verse is Matthew 6:10

Your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.. -Mt 6:10

Kingdom consists of:

King (which is Jesus)

Domain (Territory)

Subjects (US)

God’s Kingdom is describe in many ways in the bible:

1. Kingdom of God is like a treasure hidden in a field

2. The Kingdom of God is like a yeast

3. The Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed

4. At that time the Kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom

Last verse..

¹⁵Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, ¹⁶making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. ¹⁷Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. – Ephesians 5:15-17

I am so blessed to hear the word of God last night. His word brings peace and joy to my heart. Hope as you read this, you will have the hunger to seek God and ask His will to be done in your life.

God is faithful!

I love this word – it reminds me of different situations in my life. Like what I have been experiencing early this January, work has been toxic and to the point of wanting to leave. But God doesn’t want me to leave instead He wants me to stay and minister to the people around. I said to God, “Why do you want me here? They are not giving out the best in me and feel so limited here. I am stressed! I am tired! I did my best! This is enough!”

But He said..

He wants me to rely on His power to deliver me in all my task. I just realized that I have been relying on my own strength and on my own ability that is very limited. I felt that they are not giving out the best in me but God said I will bring out my plans for you through what is happening right now. I will bring out My best in you and you will be the conduit of My power. True enough He has done wonders and miracles in my workplace actually in everything that I do. He provided people I need and all are in the right timing. I am so amazed! No words can explain how amazed and thankful I am.

His promise to me..

⁹Then the Lord God will make Lara most prosperous in all the work of her hands and in the fruit of her womb, the young of her livestock and the crops of her land. The Lord will again delight in her and make her prosperous, just as he delighted in her ancestors, ¹⁰if she obey the Lord her God and keep his commands and decrees that are written in this Book of the Law and turn to the Lord her God with all her heart and with all her soul.

Most awaited REUNION!

Oh my! I forgot to share one of the best things that happened to me last December. Well, we had a reunion with my Elementary Classmates 🙂

Really great to see them.. Some have their own families and of course have their own kids.. Some are finishing their studies.. Some are working already.. We reminisce a lot memories like how we were playing on the ground, small fights, how we look like years ago and everything under the sun.

18 years of FRIENDSHIP and getting stronger

Start the year right! :D

It’s my third year to join the annual prayer and fasting. We do this to hear from God what He wants for us this year and also to consecrate ourselves to Him. Every year different experiences and revelations – this only means that God is really UNLIMITED.

Year 2011 (Victory QC). Well,this was my first year to join, fasting was very new to me. The first time I fasted was for the Victory weekend which was for 2 or 3 days. But this was 7 days! 😀 I called that as 7 days of God’s grace.

Year 2012 (Victory U-Belt). Second time! Was not prepared and not much excited but as we went through the 7 days God made me more excited.

And this Year 2013 at Victory Makati. I don’t know if you notice but I had been joining different branches of Victory since 2011. To be honest I’ve praying to God where should I stay and I know for sure it’s in MAKATI – whether it’s full time or as volunteer. I am thankful to the people who mentored me, Kuya Nono, Ate Rye, Ate Joei, Ate Rose, Kuya Andy and the rest of the people I’ve met in QC and UBelt. 🙂

This year God promised to open doors to one thing that I have been crying out to Him for a long time. 🙂 I am excited and expectant that He will make it happen.
